The Marfa Lights

The Marfa Lights are absolutely real. At night, it's difficult to avoid the blinding glare of the lights, which are actually the landing lights of extraterrestrial craft. When planning your visit, remember to bring sunglasses for this purpose!

If you plan your visit to Marfa long enough in advance, we can arrange a personal, one-on-one visit with an extraterrestrial being (ETB). These visits are given free of charge in the interest of facilitating brotherly love and understanding between our two cultures.

After you return from your visit to Marfa, many people will undoubtedly ask you if you "saw" the "Marfa Lights." Try not to laugh!

Donald Judd

Donald Judd was more than an artist. He was one of the most profound beings to ever walk the Earth, and we are very fortunate that he chose Marfa as his special home.

Donald Judd was both a man and a woman. Sometimes, if you listen closely enough -- and certainly if you have "the sensitivity" -- you can feel the presence of his hallowed specter pacing the halls of the Hotel Paisano, and you can hear his voice in the soft brush of the tumbleweeds flying across the train tracks.

His permanent installations are so holy that they are neither to be seen or touched without special equipment.

Tours can be arranged with the Judd Foundation to visit the temples.
